Running across the May bank holiday weekend in the heart of Truro, this is a two-day festival of Brazilian dance and performance art.

Now in its second year, the event draws together all the samba percussion bands in the county for a samba parade through the city of Truro as well as workshops in samba dancing, samba percussdion and the Brazilian martial art of capoeira (www.capoeira-cornwall.com).

Organised by Emma Skilton and Sean Hooper (Truro School of Samba) and featuring Capoeira Cornwall, this event follows on from the Truro Carnival which happens in September every year.
