Blue Hills tin streaming works is nestled at the seaward end of the Trevellas Valley on the north coast of Cornwall. The valley, with its gorse and heather clad hillsides has been producing tin for ages, a living testimony to the ancient 4000-year-old Cornish industry. There is a timelessness about the valley and its tin mining as though both have been there forever. With the ending of the old millennium and the beginning of the new they continue to produce Cornish tin at Blue Hills. Visitors to Cornwall now have the chance to share in this unique heritage with a fascinating tour around the works providing a Cornish memory that will last a lifetime.
